Αυτά από το cdroots (πώς μας ξέφυγε τόσο καιρό; )

The Greek master of mystery and mood is back with his 2007 release. Once again, echoes of Leonard Cohen, Jim Morrisson and Tom Waits are coupled with radical new ideas for the use of Greek traditional and modern musical forms, and once again, he is astounding. Highly recommended
Nondas Kitsis writes in RootsWorld: Diaphanous is Thanasis Papakonstantinou's return to laiko primacy. Diaphanous is his most mature and complete record so far and is also the record where his whole discography is expressed, not only his late period (from Vrachnos Profitis henceforth) but even his earlier records, when he wrote more straightforward songs for more straightforward performances. Lyrically speaking, it's a record full of lust, sex and death.
